And the winner is....

I won, I won, I won, I won!!! The newest Secretary for the Beta Club is yours truely. I am so excited; this is going to be a great experience for me. But I need to make sure I use my time wisely so my grades don't slip. Do you guys know of any good time management skills??? I think they have some good ones on CollegeBoard or was it Homeworkspot

Oh and I have decided to take a SAT prep class this summer at the Princeton Review. The website is really awesome! You can look up info on almost every college and university in the U.S. You should really check it out!! Look up the college you really want to go to and give me some details about it. Like two or three things you didn't know before.

The only thing is it costs a good bit of money for the Prep class, so I think I need to find a part time job to help my parents pay for it. And I can start saving some money for college too! Where do you guys think I should work this summer and why??

  1. Hey Amy! First, I just want to give you a big congratulations for winning Secretary of the Beta Club. That actually looks really good on a college application. Anyway, I saw some very good time management skills on CollegeBoard. Also, it's a really good idea to take the SAT prep class at the Princeton Review. It's a great class to take to get you ready for the real thing. I really want to go to New York University. I found out on the Princeton Review website that world-famous scholars, researchers, and artists teach the undergraduate and graduate courses. I also found out that the most popular majors there are Drama/Theatre Arts and General Finance. Since you need a job to help pay for the Prep class, I'd suggest that you work at Raising Cane's because you love their chicken fingers.

    Good Luck!

  5. I want to go to LSU, Harvard, or Yale. To get in to Harvard and Yale you need 3 years of the same language instead of the 2 years you need at LSU.
I would go find a job at a fast food restaurant or somewhere else that hires students.
Some tips I got in sixth grade say to:
    1.Find your study place
    2.Don't get distracted
    3.Don't waste time
